We started watching that the other night while staying at the Fairmont in SF.  Fell asleep halfway through.  Does it end well?

It does...Give it another try.

It's amazing that we have a real life "Hustle" in the news this week.

Movies are very subjective to the eye of the beholder.

I let my wife talk me out of the movie that we planned to see and saw Am Hustle instead.

I'm not sure why I didn't leave in the first 5 minutes like I originally wanted to.

The ending was only casually interesting but it was only a few minutes of an otherwise lousily acted movie.

No offense but that movie was awful as awful can be!

To me it was a classic case of media hype.

Now Amy Adam's constantly plunging neckline was extremely entertaining(!!!) but that is about the only thing in the movie that was entertaining.

The costumes and some of the music nastalgia were vaguely interesting but as a whole the movie was terrible.

I am from that generation but I'm not sure that those things would be of interest to people not from that generation.

I have to agree with FFI, wasn't impressed with the movie at all, especially with all the media hype.

Ya i didnt like it either. The bar was set extremely high by the media and it fell short. Same with Wolf of wallstreet. The main issue i had with wolf of wall street was it was so long. You can only see so much hookers and blow before you just lose interest.

I thought it was gorgeous. It definitely reminded me of Goodfellas, though nowhere near as good...not even in the same ballpark as Goodfellas.
