Night Surface Lures

Featured Replies

What is a good choice for surface lures when the water is calm and it is dark and how do you fish them.

Black jointed jitterbug. Can't beat it.

Black buzzbait would work well also. Just a standard retrieve, nothing special.

Hula-popper, jitterbug, buzzbait all work wonders for me.

Original jitterbug, and a spinnerbait is about all I ever use at night anymore.

Both a black jitterbug, and buzzbait  are excellant choices.  I personnelly like the black jointed jitterbug.   You can make alot of noise and surface ripples and then let it sit.  I dont night fish much but I love this lure.

Black muskie Jitterbug (Lake Fork, TX), black Jitterbug, Black buzz bait, black single-spin, black worm, black jig & pork.
