Heavenly. Caught the walleye this morning. Cut it into medallions, wrapped in 1/2 strips of bacon and grilled it around 20 minutes in indirect heat. Nothing short of fantastic.

Only one way to make that any better, wrap the walleye with scrapple before you wrap it with bacon ;)

Been doing that with perch for a couple years.   Next time before cooking, drizzle a little maple syrup over it.   You can thank me later.   :)

When camping nothing is better than fresh caught fish on an open wood fire nothing. Cats taste awesome that white meat of the catfish is great.

Mmmmmmm man I wish waleye were more abundant here. I rarely catch them... They are amazing tasting fish.
