Siebert Outdoors Jigs- Suggestions

Featured Replies

I'm looking to place an order for some jigs from Siebert Outdoors. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to which type of jig and color you like from them... I am thinking the Big O' Brush Jig looks pretty nice. All in all the jigs look to be made with a lot of quality and I see nothing but good reviews on here so I am excited to buy a few from him.

Any!

They are all quality products......I buy the army head...........my suggestion is to either determine what types of terrain you need them for or buy an assortment and decide which work best for you.

The arkie style heads are pretty versatile, matched up with a craw style trailer (they sell rage craws on the website) to look like a small bluegill or shad would be a good start. Some of their just plain jigheads with a 10" worm or craw work great around laydowns, submerged logs etc. Have fun shopping and good luck catchin!

You might want to get a couple of swim jigs, too!

I have had some pretty good days fishing the bluegill

pattern with a Rage Tail Menace or Shellcracker trailer.

arky styles are great, but my favorites are the mata dredge series...  i like the 1/4oz, add a fat trailer and catch fish.  also really like his finesse jigs, pbj/smoke color.

Swim jig bluegill pattern.

Call, email, or send a pm to Mike. He will get back to you fast and can suggest what is popular as well as what may work in your local waters. Super nice guy to boot!

Has anyone used the derocker one? I'm debating about buying some. Colors would be nice :)

I haven't used any of Mike's footballs since I fish grass and grass accessories. However, you can't go wrong with Blue Bug, Blue Craw, or PBJ (Smoked Jelly if you're adventurous). Personally, I think Blue Bug with the Blue Sapphire head is some of Mike's best work.

I bought a few dredge brush jigs and they are amazing. I got a black/blue ,24/7, Okeechobee craw and a sweet craw and blue craw. All are great starter colors. Covers almost every water type. My favorite and most used being 24/7, Okeechobee, and the sweet craw. Most productive is Okeechobee

And I have an arky dredge jig I have yet to use because I'm not sure what color trailer or type to put on

Is the 24/7 color black/blue/purple? I cant really tell from the picture on the site.

Thank you all!

That's correct. 24/7 is a mix of matallic black blue and purple.
