I was putting up baits yesterday and I took a couple of pics of some I've purchased in the last month or so.   Sorry for the bad pics.

Yes they are!  I'm hoping they perform as good as they look.

They haven't sent you a tracking number yet?   I placed an order Thursday and it will ship tomorrow, I already have a tracking number.

They said there would be shipping delays. I sprung for 2-day air and it got here, but the ground shipping is a bit backed up from what I understand.

Yes sir.  It's backed up because a bunch of Yahoos took advantage of the 10% off sale.  I made an order Friday it's scheduled to ship tomorrow.

Well went to gander due to the horrible weather we are having at the moment and ended up leaving with a new *** black and some senkos. The senkos were on sale for 5.99 and also buy one get one 50% off so it would have almost been irresponsible not to buy them.... The rod on the other hand I just really wanted and when it comes to fishing gear I'm weak willed

In regards to TW I ordered a reel late Thursday night and it shipped Friday afternoon so maybe they are catching up?

After successfully avoiding the tackle monkey for most of the winter I did give in on Friday and bought a Shimano Crucial MLXF rod that I'll be using for drop shotting. I wasn't really in the market but it was on sale for not much more than the price of a Compre so it was hard to say no to.

Hit up gander mtn and picked up some zman chatterbaits at 20% off and some roboworms an dropshot sinkers. Never tried either so I am adding them to the stack of lures to try. Didn't know the senkos were buy 1 get 1 50% off or I would have stocked up.

Let me know how it is I've been wanting to try one for a while..

Just bought a Cabelas Pro Guide 7' heavy action casting rod and paired it with a Daiwa Lexa 100HS. Love it. Must attest to the sensitivity of this rod as even though it's a heavy action, I felt a 10 inch Cutthroat Trout take a crankbait. At the same time I don't feel like I would have to question the rod's strength if it comes down to pulling a hog out of heavy weeds.

*Nevermind

Is that the rod with the silver grey color with the eva split grip? Our the Black with the cork handle? I know they have the Tourney Trail, and Pro Guide.

Yep, it's the black with cork handle (no split grip). I really like it although I haven't caught any bass on it yet!

To add to this thread, just picked up a Snag Proof Harry's Round Frog and Snag Proof Weed Demon. Can't wait to try them out! Also picked up a cheap Daiwa Sweepfire MH 6'6" baitcasting rod for a beater rod in heavier weeds.

Just ordered a new Lew's BB1 for $117 from Dick's. They are on sale for $139 from $159 w/ free shipping,  I added my $10 dollar rewards coupon, and bought an $138 Egift card from Raise.com for $117 and put towards the purchase. :respect-059:

Ordered a Lexa 100H and some Biospawn plastics :)
