I haven't.  I used the biggest Yum Mighty Worms on a heavy shaky head some last year and had good luck.  I saw the Uptons recommended here a few times and decided to give them a try.   I'll fish them on a 1/2-1oz jig head in deep water.   I'm pretty excited to try them out.

They're great!  Think of a bigger, meatier and juuuust slightly more durable roboworm but with prettier colors and they smell like candy.  They've pretty much taken over my worm stash except for a few specific things.

To others this combo might not seem like much, but to me it's beautiful. The Shimano Convergence Rod is a personal favorite of mine, I love it's parabolic bend and the sensitivity of the IM-7 graphite. Personally for under $100, I feel it is a very high quality rod for the money provided you take care of it. Years ago I purchased my very first baitcaster (Abu Garcia Revo STX) to learn on. Now that I am proficient enough with a baitcaster for it to be my go-to reel, I have finally purchased my second one. The Abu Garcia Orra 2 SX has good reviews and seems like a solid reel for the money. I have yet to try it out and test it, but it feels amazing in the hand and operates very smoothly. Provided there isn't any hidden surprises, I'm sure I will fall in love with it.

a little bit of everything actually. uptons worms,gambler soft bAits,plano boxes, 3 or 4 spinnerbaits and buzzbaits,jig trailers,tube of megastrike,quite a few senko knockoffs, lotta big bite baits,riot baits, 6th sense ******, total was 337 bucks. i havent looked thro it all yet i dont want the co workers seeing what an obsessed tackle junkie i am

Three packs of jigs to go with the Big Hammers (chart./plain)

Dirty Jigs 1/2oz. swim jig (moonshiner)

 

The total came to $50.06, I always try to get as close to $50 as I can.

Boat comes out of storage tomorrow so I picked up a pair of Cabela's Guidewear 3500 Auto PFD's tonight.  Not tackle, but fishing related anyway.  They are nice, glad I bought them.

I wish I could get that much stuff on tackle warehouse for $50. Usually I only have 2 things in my cart when I'm at the $50 mark

So in a true mistake, and not a "mistake".... I was flipping between my screens and I thought I was on the right screen when I hit enter.....  I was not.... So now I have a pair of Zeko shoes coming. And then I was on a roll of ordering, so I clicked yes to my new rod holder for my boat, and a new marine light. At that point there was not return and I put in a TW order.... Bait monkey knows NO limits. The bait monkey is not limited to just tackle.

like an idiot i ordered a few 3601 plano boxes with my TW order. stared out amongst the bags and boxes of unopened tackle and now these r going back to TW in exchage for 4 or 5 3701 planos and may as well add a few more baits to the cart to get that free shipping
