TW was sold out of all Gliss Tuesday with a delivery date of October 11... for whatever reason I checked back as I was shopping and it's all in stock now.

Ahhh shes finally here, bright and early!! Can I be in love with my reel and not be weird? Haha pretty good shape too. I was expecting the marks to look a little worse, but they're not at all in my opinion. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have another surprise from Japan!!

The pflueger Trion reel is awesome for the price. My wife bought me one for Father's day this year and I love it.

Psycho Doc's psycho trout likes to slide this way and then swim that way. Pretty neat, huh? 2013 Bass-a-Thon special color.

 

I had to scarf up some remaining PayCheck Transporter baits (frogs) because they are being discontinued. Bought $300 worth (or more) so far. From 4 places. That's a life time supply. But when they are all out all over, I'll sell some for $25 each. (Watch for them on eBay next year. Ha. Ha.)

I have a couple of great jackets for rain but on my last outing I got soaked.  I decided to go all out and I bought an Arcteryx Beta AR.  I also picked up an Atom LT for winter, a new Princeton rechargable head lamp (270 blinding lumens), and two Livingston lipless cranks.  

 

The Arcteryx jackets are amazing.  I have always seen them but I couldn't bring myself to buy one.  The quality of Beta AR is above and beyond anything I have ever owned.  Its light and breathable.  I just got it, so no major review yet.  I can't wait for some colder temps and bad weather to give these guys a real test. 

I ordered a 6' med action spinning rod from Hong Kong. I'm surprised at the quality. For $16.68 not bad. More med/lt than med. Too nice for the 5yo grandson.

Two rts mice showed up today with two more *** frogs.

The "BAY" got me again, this time for a Phenix Maxim 7'3" MH/F BC rod for $86!

I found a new Fishing & Hunting shop about a 30 minutes drive from me. The store is small but he has a TON of stuff in there and a great fishing tackle/bait selection. The prices aren't bad either...just about on par with Dick's and Wally World. Here's my little score from this past weekend...

Got a H2O jerkbait and some Z-Man Elaztech craws to try out. Never fished craws, and only tried a jerkbait once.

I returned a garbage rod that i bought at Cabela's (broke on first fish and about 90% of reviews said the same).  i bought it on a whim because it was on sale and a 2 piece.... shame on me for no research before buying.  

Anyways, they were most helpful and provided me with a store credit for the rod.  Of course I had to spend it right away.....  the LCs and the War Eagles were on sale.....  i'm a sucker.
