Zoom salty chunk, super chunk, super chunk jr. and skinny chunk. When fishing jigs in cold water I'm going to use chunk type trailers, you can also use pork chunks but they are kind of messy but they do work really well.

What type of jig skirt? In colder water I use bucktail w/ pork... Critters still move in colder water, albeit, slower... Uncle Josh, and they make several different action types/shapes/sizes that are really good. I use pork in colder weather, not so much in warmer temps.

whats the difference in using Rage Tail Menace Grub or Rage Craw?

The difference is the profile, both will give a similar look and action but the craw is a little wider and will displace more water while the grub is a little more streamlined. For winter I believe both to have too much action but if I was going to use one it would be the Menace Grub. To be clear, the grub will work but for my personal preference, both have too much action in my winter fishing, as water temps are in the mid to upper 30s when it isn't frozen so chunks and trailers will very little action are what is needed.

I honestly don't feel it matters too much when it comes to trailers having no action in winter as long as the water isn't just about freezing temperature, but I do like pork on round rubber jigs for a good slow fall in the winter.  I feel that is most important when it comes to jigs in the winter.  Especially shallow jig fishing in the winter. Don't get too hung up on that whole no action for winter fishing, it doesn't get that cold where you live.

Craws have claws, twin tail grubs don't have claws. All soft plastic jig trailers don't swim much moving very slow. The Rage product line has a rib to enhance swimming movement, how good this works in cold water?

Soft high floatation pork trailers are good moving slow in any water temperature.

Uncle Josh pork trailers. Very little movement and they have lots of scent, which I believe is a good thing, especially in cold water. I use them all year round though so I already have confidence in them.
