Over a year ago a friend of mine introduced me to bass fishing. Since then I have become hooked. I have watched several youtube videos and researched several websites. I am stuck on the banks right now, but hope to purchase a boat in the near future. I just recently purchased my first bait caster, work in progress, lol.

I'm also a middle school teacher and have found that many of my students have a passion for bass fishing. Their knowledge is far greater then mine and I have learned a lot from them. My students recently asked me to start a fishing club at our school. We are in the process of gathering information to present to our administration.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! I fish Lake Hartwell. Ever fish there?  I recently started a fishing club at my school with a teacher. We just went to our DNR website and found some clubs info and started from there. We are currently starting it up. I am from SC but take a look at Georgias DNR site and they may have details there. Good Luck!!
