The one I caught on my 8" hit it on the fall and took off like I was fishing a Senko! Was really expecting a bigger fish when she did that. I was in a pit that drops almost straight down to 20+ feet of water so I was waiting for it to hit bottom when she grabbed it. It's still awesome to get to say I've caught an 8" Hudd fish in Kansas though.

Did you use the Butch Brown rig on yours? I have a few and am contemplating rigging them that way. I was just wondering if people have had trouble with their hookup ratio using the stock hook.
