Go fox hunting a ball deep snow. Only made 5 sets last night one of which was down a hill which ment up hill climb back to the truck. My legs are more sore today then any leg day at the gym.

Long walks in waders carrying a big decoy bag full of floating decoys and then sloshing through ice and swamp all day while duck hunting is a killer too. Any day pheasant and quail hunting is a leg killer as well.

I remember those days.  I used to pack my decoys on my bike before I got a car so I remember getting double the exercise.

Try hauling 46 geese back to the truck in boot foot chest waders  :eyebrows: (yesterday)

That's why I hunt bigger lakes where we can drive a boat to where we're hunting now. I've never had to carry a bunch of geese but I did have to drag my biggest buck I've ever shot about a football field until I got him to where I could get the truck to him. Felt like I was about to pass out by the time I finally got him there.
