Bassmaster Top 100 Bass Lakes Of 2015

Featured Replies

Should be Clearlake. With in a week or two 30lbs won't cut a check.

Clear lake for sure. Delta should be in the top 10's too

As long as it isn't one i regularly fish, i am ok with whatever is picked :)

Lake Chickamauga , Tennessee......This Tennessee river lake should be #1, or certainly in top 10.

Lake Okeechobee

I just hate that they waste an entire issue on it each year. Bass anglers don't need to be told where to fish. Word gets around.

Okee ... YALL mad at Florida huh ??

How about  Lake Chickamauga TN ?

Gabe Keen appears to have broken a 60-year-old, bass-fishing record in the state of Tennessee. He landed a 15.2 pound largemouth bass on Lake Chickamauga on Friday Feb. 13, 2015.

Like a couple already said, #1 could easily be chickamauga. Usually the list is pretty surprising though, there's always quite a few lakes that I can't believe they missed.

Delta Okeechobee, and Chickamauga will each make top 10... Clear Lake for #1!

That's my guess anyways.

I'm pretty sure folks struggled on the Delta in 2014.  Have conditions changed?

Lake Toho beats the Big O in quantity of 10+'s caught each year. We'll see where it ranks.

Which lake did Cody Meyer and Jason Johnson catch all those huge spots out of? I would think that would make at least the top 20.

Rodman has to be on the list.

I'm going with Lake Fork.   I don't know if there's another lake in the country that can produce what Fork did during the TTBC last year.

what's your definition of struggle? I saw many good bags of fish and 20 lbs wouldn't even take top 5s at times

Well Clearlake is starting to kick off a little faster than I expected. ABA results just came out for yesterday. Just under 36 lbs won it and the top 8 all had bags over 30.

The delta kicked out lots of big bags last year. It should be in the top ten for sure.

I hope this one stays quiet for a while. But I will give you a hint. Kokanee

Kentucky lake will be up there.

Rodman has to be on the list.

Absolutely!

Rodman is one lake that doesn't get enough credit for the quality fishery it is. Big O, Toho, St Johns, Kissimmee etc get all the publicity down here, and rightfully so, but nobody talks or even thinks about Rodman.

It's gone through some changes over the years but believe me when I tell you this lake is something special.
