not knocking or anything but the shape looks very similar in design to the 22nd century triple trout (quad)

i fished with the finished bait briefly today, and it swims much better than before.

my theory is that the epoxy buildup made the space between the joints a little bit tighter, and that is what it needed.

now it swims at a slow roll speed.

when cranking it at a slow roll speed, there is a subtle S motion along the whole body, but when this thing is burned in, it just goes wild, the widest S motion i've ever seen. looks just like a snake haulin' *** across some dirt lol!

the water wasnt very clear so i couldnt get a good video :-[. video is coming though...

some things i learned from this bait that might help you out:

make joints tight together while still maintaining free movement

dont add too much weight

make the head the heaviest and biggest piece

test lures before finishing

Did you add any weight into the body pieces?

It would be simple to drill holes and add weights or create a chamber for rattles.

for the photofinish i printed out the image (after i changed the shape a little bit. then i cut it out and glued it to a piece of foil tape and put that on my lure.

to add the weights i drilled holes in the bottom of each piece and stuck a split shot into each hole. you could drill holes and put in glass rattles if you wanted to.

to link the segments, i used twisted loops of stainless steel wire.
