Hey guys im looking to get flouro for my spinning setup that i mainly use for dropshots, shakeyheads, and finesse techniques. what flouro would you suggest and what lb test? thanks!

I always keep 6,7, and 8 lb sniper with me, I just really like the 7lb, I have gone down to 4 and 5lb sniper, but that's pretty rare for me even out in our super clear socal lakes

8lb Invisx is also a good choice.

There isn't going to be a better line than Tatsu. I use 6# typically so I can toss the really light stuff too. I also use 8# sniper. Both are great. I back the reel with a little mono to help on line savings cost.

6lb Trilene XL 100% FC has worked great for me so far.  No knot or breaking issues and it has been pretty manageable. 

X3 on the sniper. I use it in 2-8 lb test on spinning gear as well.

Sniper is awesome, just don't go any heavier than 8lb fluoro because of fluoro's stiffness - it'll start springing off your spinning reel like backwards-spooled mono.

If you don't like a lot of stretch, Sniper has less than Invizx and Tatsu.  If Sniper is still too much stretch for you, either try Yo-Zuri Hybrid (even less stretch than Sniper, trade off is a slightly slower sink rate) or use braid and tie a 4 foot fluorocarbon leader on with an Alberto knot.

Sniper or InvizX in #6lb. ~ #8lb.

Once my current inventory is finished I might just go with Sniper in #7lb. and really learn touse it well for spinning applications for bass versus using two lines such as #6lb. and #8lb.

7lb Sniper is great stuff. Has a diameter closer to 6lb but has the strength of 8lb.

 

Personally I prefer 10lb braid with a 7lb Sniper leader on a spinning rod but thats just me.
