New Pb For Me This Morning.

Featured Replies

I got a 21 and a quarter inch bass this morning, my scales broke but based on the weight to length conversion it's 5.71 lbs. I thought this river only had 1 to 2 pounders until today.

Bladed jigs are big fish catchers no doubt. Congrats on the new PB! Did you buy a scale while you were at the store so you don't have to guess next time?

Good going! Congrats!

Waiting for payday to get the scale, last one broke because I went for a cheap mechanical one, I want to get a good digital one this time.

Even the cheap digital ones are pretty accurate. I've got a $20 Berkley digital from Wal Mart that's close enough. Even if you don't have a scale if you carry a soft tape so you can get the length and girth you can plug that into the fish weight calculator and get in the ballpark.

I have a soft tape from cabelas, didn't know I could get the weight by girth. I'v been using the website below since my scale broke.
