I hear ya. Not sure why more places dont carry them? Only guess would be popularity. I stocked up last winter. Bought about 15 packs for $30 shipped from a guy that decided he didn't care for them. I love them on swimjigs, C-rigs, and rage rigged. I have enough baits to last me years.

why would they call it an eel when it more resembles a tadpole ??

One of my All Time Favorite's.

Great Top water, Killer swim jig trailer, and for those who haven't Rage Rigged it, you're really missing out.

Super, Super Durable.

And you're right.  Hard to come by. Don't really understand why ? ? ?

But this is a good deal

Thanks for the heads up Kent.

I remember Steve P saying to message him if you need some..I think SK stopped production but Steve might make them??

RW if you need more and can't seem to find them anymore I would be happy to trade with you. A this point I could part with a few packs. I have 16 packs left right now. Shoot me a PM should the time come.

  • Super User

I hope SK didnt stop making them.

I did not see any of them on the 2015 price list.  This is one bait I was going to add to the line up next time I ordered along with some Smokin Roosters.

There was a recent thread where Glenn stated "the only way they don't work is if you don't fish them".

Well, I have some but I haven't fish them until I read thaty post. Over the past two weeks the Smokin'

Rooster has been KILLER for me!

Don't tell anyone but the Eeliminator makes for one heck of a good trailer on an the back of the 1/2 oz Z-Man Evergreen Jack Hammer vibrating jig.

It's just stupid good.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Rage Rigged? I found one of those Eeliminators in a pack of one of the baits you sent me. Didn't know what it was until I looked on the SK website a while back. I thought it was a Rage Tadpole or something like that...lol. ?

Great news. I bought a bunch from the web site when they had them, but also saw them gone when I checked to re-order.

Lunker City Salad Spoon is a similar lure that is being discontinued.

Tom

I'm not going to lie, I got a pack in my last MTB and I stared at it for like 15 minutes trying to figure out what the heck to do with it.

I need to spend some more time with it for sure. I tried Texas rigging it weightless, I had a silly slow fall, never occurred to me. I threw 1/4 of tungsten in front of it and swam it around a little.

I definitely need to try it as a chatterbait trailer, I hadn't considered that. The body would keep it up in the water column, burn it across shallows. That would be pretty beast. I'll play with it a bit the next time I'm out and give it a fair chance for sure

Anyone have any luck with the smaller size 3.5in they have now on a zman shroomz 1/15 or 1/10 jighead?
