They didn't kill me. Hurts like a SOB.

Pain is God's way of letting you know you're still alive.  Glad you're still with us!  Hope you make a quick recovery and the repairs were a success.

Tight lines,

Bob

Here's hoping for a speedy and complete recovery.  Now you can start a countdown for getting back on the water.

yesterday was rough. today, not too bad as of now. medication induced dreams are quite realistic. I spent my early morning driving around in a yellow mazda Miata convertible trying to locate my tundra so I could tow the boat to the lake. Never found the tundra

Doc said everything went back together well. A lot of scar tissue was removed. the lower trapezius muscle was torn off.. the repairs should alleviate the constant headaches. getting the staples removed a week from Monday. they have me in a sling with a wedge in it. need to wear it constant for the first 4 weeks. PT starts after that. Thanks for the well wishes.

I had the wedge too.  On the coldest day of the season I couldn't get my coat closed because of it.  Take it easy and have a speedy recovery.
