Hi From Mississippi

Featured Replies

My name is Tom and I live outside of the Jackson area and fish the Ross Barnett Reservoir. I just started back fishing this year after not fishing for 12 years. I told my wife when I retired I was going to buy me another bass boat and start back fishing. Well I did just that but waited two years after retirement. I fished a bunch in the 80's and 90's, if fact, that about all I did besides work. I can tell you tackle sure has changed, I guess I got sticker shock looking to buy new tackle. After trying some new Lew's reels, I had to replace my old ones, the newer one are so much better.  Also there are new techniques that I never knew of just as the Ned Rig. Well thanks to this forum I am catching up to new equipment and techniques. Well got to load up and go fishing, thanks to all for a great forum.

Hey Tom, great having you with us.

Hope the Dogs can beat Bamasucs today.

Would be really great for LSU since Bamasucs handed the Fighting Tigers their a$$es on a silver platter last week.

Just take your cow bell with you when you go bass fishing and ring it every time you catch a bass.

You will wear out that bell using the knowledge you will gain on this Forum.

Good luck and welcome back into the bass fishing family.

Geaux Tigers!
