Now that I am trying big game and gamma flouro, should I give the reel magic I have had for years a shot with these lines? If so, spray it on the line on the reel? Also should I do it now or wait till May when the season opens back up? Last question with this stuff, does it do anything for braid or fireline?

Kvd line and lure conditioner is the product you want to use. Reel magic will not give you the same results as the l&l. Spray it on as you are spooling up and then the night before you go fishing. 

Fire line I have no idea since I don't use it. Braid it does nothing for.

KVD Line & Lure Conditioner is what you want.

 

Another vote for KVD L&L. Anything else is useless once you've tried it. 

Spray the whole spool of line. Even bulk spools. Any spool of line I get I spray down.

I used reel magic on some cheap sinking braid and it just absorbed it and made it stiff. Won't do that again as for fluro and mono I couldn't tell the difference. Might try kvd this year

Throw the reel magic away it comprimises anything it touches it is a petroluem product.

Thanks, I added the KVD stuff to my list for my next order. Glad I didn't use the reel magic all these years. It was still in the airosal can, lol. It will meet the garbage can. 

I will add my vote for KVD Line and Lure. I was sceptical when I started using it, but quickly became a believer. I have been using it for a couple of years and it is always in my fishing gear.

I wouldn't throw away that Reel Magic as there are many other good uses for it that don't involve fishing line.  I for one spray some of it a towel and clean the screens of my TV's and laptops.  It's supposed to help eliminate static and therefore the amount of dust that collects on the screen.  I can 100% say that my screens are in fact less dusty.

Now in regards to its application to fishing line.....I agree with everyone else that you really need to get the KVD L&L product.  

KVD!  I bought some cheap BPS line conditioner and it's sliminess is hard to deal with.  KVD is the best I've tried.  

 kvd l&l conditioner!  works great, been doing it for several years on FC, mono and copoly line.
