Most versatile worm

Featured Replies

If you could only have one type worm (senko/ ole monster / powerbait / trick stick) what would it be and why?  I want to know which type I would get the most use out of in many times of year and various conditions.

They're all pretty versatile ~

Zoom trick worm. Shakey, dropshot, t-rigged, wacky, neko rig, jika rig, and others I've never heard of. You could probably use it as a replacement for the tail on some of the rat swimbaits out there, too.

Where are you in the country?

I'd say the 7" Power Bait worm in Green Pumpkin for me.

Zoom trick worms work great around here too.

This is impossible.  It's one of the very reasons I go to work everyday.....so I don't have to limit my worm types.

Most versatile would have to be a zoom magnum trick worm. Could use in almost any scenario.  Also, the larger size works well but you can also cut it down for smaller sizes if pressure is tough. In regards to color, I would go with a green pumpkin with chartreuse tip. Pretty good color across the board conditions wise.

Creme scoundrel ,I ve caught so many fish on it.

I'd pick a yama-senko over a trick worm any day, but the trick worm is more versatile.
