You need to add yourself.

The zoom feature is great!

I tried to add myself, but don't see anywhere to update the map. I went to the map and tried using the directions there, but no go.

Agreed. Either there is a way to add yourself on that page and it is not intuitive, or I am blind.

Fixed it.  You can now add yourself.
