A little tin boat love

Featured Replies

Took a few pictures of the boat before it headed to the repair shop and had to share.  Luckily I've had some good friends help get my boat together and all my new goodies on.  Got hurt at work and haven't been able to do much but hopefully ill be back at it soon and the boat will be ready.

Im happy with them, had to warranty one out for paint chipping off the case but after dealing with a horrible shop in Utica NY Minn Kota sent me a hole new talon.

It's off the production line and should be at the dealer any day now.  There will still be a week or so on top of that as I'm having the dealer do all the "rigging", and there's quite a bit.  Still, I'm trying to be patient but seeing a killer rig like yours Is Not HELPING !

Coincidentally, once I'm rigged & ready (and able to post a few pics) you're going to notice quite a few similarities.  From the TM, the electronics & even down to the same color Coolfoot.

Thanks its been a great boat.  I can't wait to get it out in the water.

You ever feel like you can't catch a break?  Well noticed this today,  tire is brand new and hasn't even seen the pavement.

Nice rig. Is it me or do those Talons look way to big for that boat?

They aren't small but I don't see em as being to big

I agree they are too big better rip them off there before they break something and Ill get that garbage right out of your way. Just lay those horribly over sized things gently in the bed of my truck. :lol1:

Haha after that drive from Texas you might be better off buying some

Very nice!  I see you got the new wheels...

What size is the HP on your Suzuki and how does it push the boat?

Thanks warrior your picture made me want some.  The Suzuki is a 115 and I was getting about 45-46 last year before adding the other talon and brackets.  Gonna be messing with prop and motor height this year to see if we can pull any more out of it.  But super good and gas and you can hardly hear it running.

Nice,, nut'n wrong with them tin boats, we aint play'n in saltwater
