Savage gear makes a shine glide that would fit the bill nicely. 5.25" long and weighs 1oz.  I didn't like the giron. The ganterell is much nicer.

Gantarel if you want a solid, great action bait..find one for 20-25 used.

It's not technically a glide but the 5" Savage Gear 3D gill glides nicely if you crank hard and stop or use the rod tip to twitch it (I prefer to use the reel). That's been my best technique with it and it's worked well. Does not work with the 6" since it's a line thru.

I second the 3d gill. Pretty versatile. And gets bit. Most of the cheaper glides in my experience have an x motion and glide very little on the pause . Most fold up an die. Good glides are hard to come by and touchy they don't get bit as often as the soft baits do. The good ones have drawing power like you can't believe. Save up and get a bullshooter. Or a phoney or Hinkle if you can find one paint it how you like.

Think I will try the Savage then just to try. Maybe I can get some confidence with it. What about the S Waiver 168?. Ty

R2Sea 168 S Waver in New Bluegill should work as a glide bluegill if that is what you want.
