I use Both Senkos and Yum Dingers, I like both. Just wondering... What do you guys Prefer? Also what color is your favorite for clear water? And what color is your favorite for Dirty water?

Senkos by far. But if you think they are even to you I wouldn't spend the extra cash. Natural colors for clear lakes like greens, browns and smokes.

I used Senkos exclusively for many many years. I got tired of paying a premium for them. Switched to dingers, and my catch rate, size of the fish I catch, and money in my pocket has gone up. 

 

The Yamamoto Senkos work better than the others crowd will be here shortly...............

I prefer the 5" Gambler Ace to all other stickworms, including the Senko.

I place little emphasis on color, but stick with dark colors like green pumpkin, junebug & black & blue

Between those two: Senkos, no question.

 

I've had results on Yum dingers, just not like I've

had with Senkos.

 

Now ask me about BPS Stik-O worms and I'll tell

you they are quite good. IMO better than Yum. But

that's just my .02.

They all have different rates of fall & composed of different textures.

By far the gary yamamato senko, it's not even debatable in my mind.  Senko's usually outfish dingers by a five to one ratio, and often more.  That being said I rarely fish senko's outside of tournaments, because of the cost I use BPS stick-o's.  Even with stick-o's the senko usually outfishes them by a margin of at least two or three to one. 

Edit, I forgot to mention the colors I use.  I like to keep it simple with colors, I don't really think color matters much.  I only use three colors, green pumpkin for cloudy days, some kind of sparkle green pumpkin for sunny days, and occasionally junebug.

For GYB: 5" watermelon cream laminate for clear water. No muddy waters around me. For Yum Dinners: Leave at home and use GYCB 5" watermelon cream laminate.

If you want to use it for weightless texas rig or wacky, senkos will be better due to better shimmy and slightly heavier weight. If you want to use it for anything else, like shakyhead, jighead wacky, weighted texas rig, carolina rig, etc, dingers will be better because they last longer and are cheaper, and the difference in action of the 2 in those techniques is almost nonexistent.

Senkos are the best by far. There is a reason all other sticks get compared to the same one stick, its the best stick there is. 

Yum dingers are what I started with, don't really see a reason to switch up too much.

 

but I did break down and buy a bag of stick o's this fall and will test them out in the spring

I picked some of those Grande Bass baits up recently. Can't wait to try them out. 

I love the Senko smoke/hologram in 6" but GYB discontinued that size in that color. So I made a custom order but I had to buy the whole run. 34 bags of 50 but best buy I ever made. It is a big fish bait!

I have some of their swim'n rattlesnakes. I really like them.

I use multiple different stick baits including Senkos, Dingers, bps stick baits, grandebass rattlesnakes, RI pocket rockets, and gambler. I feel they all have a time and a place.

 

My best producers are Senkos, BPS stick baits, and grandebass. These three are also my favorite. When I go hunting for a big fish I use Senkos exclusively. I have just caught so many more bigger fish on them than the others.
