Hi,

My name is Aldo, born in Los Angeles but raised up here in Portland, Oregon. I caught my first fish when I was probably 6 while camping with the family. Looking back it was probably a bluegill. Didn't think much of it at the time until I was about 18. Same rod/reel combo from those many years ago and went out with some friends who wanted to go trout fishing. Caught one and for some reason it stuck. I was cheesing the whole time while I was reeling that little guy in. It was the craziest thing all of a sudden I was obsessed with fishing and didn't want to leave that day.

Since then I discovered the joy that is bass fishing, constantly learning and watching Youtube nonstop. I've amassed what my friends call an "absurd" amount of tackle and rods/reels (Pfftt like 6 combos) and love to go out and hit the water.

I signed up to BR because I, like everyone here want to learn and genuinely enjoy reading/watching anything fishing related. I hope this site becomes a great tool towards becoming a better angler and will contribute to best of my abilities. Aside from that I hope to also find new waters here in Oregon or even WA.

Tight lines!
