That was pretty Intense !

I'd need a "debris escape flap' on the back of my suit right there.

Isn't it safer just to order the square fish from Micky-D's ?

Apparently it's been removed.  a spear gunner latching onto a tuna and two sharks doing their best to take his prize.  First person head cam video.  He eventually ends up stabbing the sharks and makes it out of the water in one piece, tuna intact.  :)

I saw a recent video on Youtube of a spearfisherman spearing a yellowfin tuna on a polespear, fighting 2 decent sharks, and keeping his catch. The man is a very good diver and the type of person any diver would enjoy having as a dive partner. Definitely a sport where you need to be brave and keep calm when it matters most.

Pretty sure I found the video elsewhere. That better have been the best tuna steaks he's ever eaten. Not a chance I'd be going hand to teeth with a couple reef sharks in open water to keep them away from a speared fish.

I saw this video the other day.  I fancy myself a reasonably composed fellow, but NOPE NOPE NOPE.  Serious props to the dude for keeping a level head, staying functional, not panicking, and making it home.
