I run the Crankenstein/Calcutta D 200 combo for deep cranks and pike.  Its currently spooled with 30# PP but I think I would benefit from a line with a bit of stretch.

 

Thoughts?

 

 

I use 12lb Big Game on my deep cranking setup. 

30Lb braid. 

12 pound mono would get my vote.

10 pound 832 as it is less boyant  with FC leader

^^^^^ This. I use 13# for swim jigs and wake baits. Fantastic line. Plus it wont break the bank.

I use Seaguar Red Label for pretty much everything.  Usually costs 10-15 a spool, is 100% fluorocarbon, and flat out works.
