Where do you buy the weedless jigheads and skirts? I like the Arky style and I'd like to buy several and try my hand at may own jigs.

 

Every time I lose the skirt off a jig, I just thread on a Hula Grub and it gets good quality bites. I'd like to hae some extra heads for that too.

Many places have them but I buy siebert outdoors jigs because I'm a fan of the deep throat hooks. I believe their around a buck a piece. Plenty of color heads as well

Some jig makers offer naked jigs, some call them plain jigs, most jig makers sell them painted or unpainted. Remember a jig is only as good as it's hook, the right hook for the presentation being fished.

Siebert sells plain jigheads, then get the skirt material from fishingskirts.com. I pour my own but buy all my skirt material from fishingskirts.

i just ordered some brush jigs with a lighter wire hook from cadman from this board.  i sometimes think i want to starting pouring my own, but then realize i really don't lose or use that many jigs.  i can't really justify the cost of getting into it vs just buying 15-20 when i need them.

Unless you use a lot of jigs it isn't worth pouring them just buy the heads from one of the sources above.

I only tie for personal use so pouring my own isn't really worth the time vs what I spend on the pre made heads. I get 90% of my jigheads from Siebert. Love his jigs. I order my skirts from fishingskirts.com, and I recently ordered a few Boss heads to try
