I live in PA and need to have a certificate saying that i passed an exam and pay 10$ for the card that says so. An online course is 35$. Once i pass this course, am i free to boat in any other us state?

California started a boating license program last year and we are now required to have a this license. The program starts at age 18 and works towards older age groups each year, by 2025 everyone in CA must have a boating license. This is a good program and long over do!

In the beginning NH licensed boaters were having problems with Maine taking the reciprocal.

I believe that since the classes now mirror each other, reciprocity is no longer an issue

I praise the Lord everyday that I was born after the "boating license" was invented in TN. They already nickel and dime the crap out of us on all the other licenses. The only reason I don't hunt is because all the red tape. Been jumping over stumps with an outboard engine since I was 7.
