My 8' Bass Baby has the battery in the back and trolling motor up front. I ran my wires along the side of the hull and used a plastic tab with double-sided tape to secure the wire with a zip tie. The double-sided tape doesn't always stay and I'm tired of replacing it. 

 

Anybody seen a slick way of keeping the wire out of the way? I don't have good access to the inner hull - prefer to not go that route.

I have run them inside of pvc pipe. Anywhere I needed the wiring to come out use a T connection.

I did that, but still have the same need to secure it down. I had the double-sided tape square things holding it in place and those fell off too.

On my pond prowler I screwed cable clamps on the wiring.

Google "plastic adhesives" and you will get a bunch of results.  These glues won't hold forever, but they should last longer than double sided tape.  We will see if this link works, but you could try this one.

My suggestion too. Get some self tapping zip screws and use this style cable tie.

I used something like this on my Jeep. Drill a 1/4" hole and pop it in.

8 gauge us OverKill.  After 30 years I just Wired my brand new Bass Hunter 120 thru the inside, easy as pie.  I drill a hole up front to the right and use a 3 prong female plug attached to the HDPE.  Get a a real small plumbers  snake and run it down the inside to your desired length in back where your battery will be. drill another small hole there.  rom your back hole fish the plumbers snake thru hole up to your first bigger hole and fish out with a metal clothes hanger.  Tape snake and 10 { TEN } gauge cable back through your smaller hole an then attach back cable with a screwed in cable holder and connect both ends there.  While your at it snake your depth finder cable attaching it to your 10 gauge cable.  Then connect all ends accordingly.  Sounds hard but is really really simple to do.  Just lay everything out before proceeding.

As someone previously suggested “cable clamps” HoDe has these and plastic/nylon in the electrical dept. Or, if you rather stick with “tape” try a auto parts store for the 3M all weather tape. If you go with the tape wipe area with alcohol first then apply and hold for a few seconds.
