It will. I fished Hedges Pond in Plymouth, Mass. yesterday with my kayak.  Long Pond and Great Herring are also open.  Everything from exit 5 on rte 3 northbound is solid.

It's felt pretty cold the last 2 days. What are you wearing while kayaking?

There is none of it in Hampton Roads Virginia.

Don’t come up here to Parry Sound, On. We’ve probably got average about 18” on most lakes. Trucks are driving out on some of them. 

Gonna be a while before I’m backing the boat down the ramp ?. 

I dress as if I’m working outside with a winter base layer, jeans, and   three layers up top.  I wear a Milwaukee heated jacket and pack ski pants if it’s really cold.

Yea, I come down here after ice fishing in MA for a week and am greeted with a foot of snow lol. At least we get some nice days in the 60's sprinkled in.

That's VA for ya. Mild mostly but with a little bit of 

the white stuff for good measure. Looks like the snow

on Tuesday will be on top of ice as it's gonna rain
