I’m looking to crank from 10-20ft of water. What line poundage do you guys recommend for fluorocarbon for this presentation.

10 or 12.  Heavier line on things like the 8 and 10 xd

Not fluorocarbon for cranking.  I prefer #11 Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo.

I use 10 or 12# Seaguar Tatsu.

I use 12lb Sniper cranking around rocks or stumps, 10lb mono in open water.

10 or 15 mono depending on where I am fishing, and the weight of the bait. 

The lighter line, the more depth you’ll get out of it. Depending on where you are cranking, I’d go as light as possible but not so light that you have break offs.

The lighter strength or smaller dia the line is the less drag it has going through water allowing a deep diving crankbait to reach it's maximum diving depth. The down side being less force to can apply to the lure for hook sets and controlling the bass or pull the lure out of snags.

Casting distance is also improved using smaller diameter line. 

30 lb braid may be the ultimate crankbait line if you like braid. My choice is Sunline Diefer Nylon 11 lb test because I like mono for crankbaits and don't fish them where there is a lot of weeds.

I've never had any trouble with 10 lb Sufix Elite. 

20 lb braid to 8 lb defier armilio

This^. I have started using braid with a leader, and while there is a learning curb, as well as a rod change, I'm liking it for some instances.

Another vote for 10-12 pound depending on bait and cover - usually Tatsu or InvizX.

For deep divers, you will want to use 10-12lb fluorocarbon for sure.

...or, better yet, 20 or 15 pound test braid.  You gain a huge amount of sensitivity and have a very small line diameter that more than makes up for the bouyancy to get down as deep as you need to.  An appropriate rod will handle the shock-absorption and keep the hooks pinned.  A mono leader will protect the braid from contact with cover.

 

It's a viable choice that few people seem to consider.  One of the best-known cranking specialists, David Fritts, prefers braid.

30 lb Power Pro braid has been working great for me.  I have been using a few feet of 20 lb mono as a leader but I'm sure a lot of people don't, and do just fine.
