Getting wet again...

Featured Replies

Hey all...

Been away from the lure life for 13 years plus. Been racing bikes and Triathlon and busy with life in general. A good buddy got me excited to get wet again and I finally got out with some old and new gear. I can't describe how elated I was, and still am to be out dropping line again. How did I stay away for so long. I managed to hook a big bucket mouth, round 3+ pounds but apparently the pic is too big a file to post. Need to figure that out.

Caught on my brand spanking new Lew's Carbon Fire rod and Strike King spinner. (Not promotion, just first new gear in years so genuinely excited)

So excited to be back and looking forward to a full season of angling heaven!

Hey Eric - I was in the same boat last April, I found a renewed interest in angling again, and it had changed so much since I was a teenager. At first it was very overwhelming, but BR has a lot of great members to help you catch up, and good honest advice for tackle and gear.

I use www.imgur.com to upload pictures, then when you're done editing or saving, in the top right corner of the picture there should be an option for "get shareable links", click that then hit the copy BBCode button and paste here. You should end up with something like [ img ] http:.... [ /img ]

Welcome back.

Word of warning: it’s an addictive puppy.

Good luck and report back with your catches!

Howdy Eric and welcome to our fishing family! I use the Image Shrink Lite app for uploading photos. It's pretty easy to use from my phone. ?
