Bass Fishing Apps

Featured Replies

Do you guys have any apps that you use for your fishing? Apps designed for fishing, apps not designed for fishing, etc. What are they and how much do they cost?

Only app I use is the free culling app called RightCull we use for our Thursday night tournaments. It adds your total weight for you and highlights your biggest and smallest fish.

No automatic alt text available.

I religiously use RiverCast for evaluating whether the river near me is suitable/safe for wading. It polls data from USGS streamflow gauges. It's very handy and the developer is easy to get in touch with to assist.

Dark Sky is one of the best apps I've ever used. Gives you very accurate forecasts.

i use fishdy and tide chart they are free. i can mark spots on fishdy. that is the best part besides saving my catches.

The only thing I use is my local news stations weather app. The radar is a nice feature, and I can set alerts so it will tell me when lightning is detected within so many miles of me, rain to, of course it misses the mark on the rain occasionally.

I use Fishidy to compare Navionics maps to my Lakemaster maps. neither are 100% accurate.

Storm Radar- Weather forecast and live radar. Free

Google Earth- Satellite image.  The areas I fish, the maps built into my Lowrance aren't very accurate.

Navionics- It's either 9.99 a year or one time purchase.  I can't remember.  I Know the webapp is free, they may also have a free version for your phone as well.

Fishing Knots- Mainly use it to explain a knot to someone.  Free

Fishing Calendar Pro. I'm still undecided, but it seems to be more hit than miss.

Google earth, I use it before every tournament. It's very helpful especially if you know what your looking for on it.

They have it for Apple phones because everyone in our group uses it for weigh in. RMP, Russell Marine Products Right Cull App. You might just try a Google search for Right Cull App.
