Garlic, Baitfish, Crawfish or Anise Oil

I seldom use it.  It has to be real slow before I soak a bait.  I'm sure it might help them holding the bait a little longer.  If I do use it, I use a Dandy Dipper, which I dip a bait, and then throw it.  It makes dipping really easy.  It has a screw top which you use when moving from place to place, no spill!.  It hooks under a cleat, and actually hangs off the boat, and over the water.  Drippings go in the water, not the boat.  Nice little tool, for those who use sent a lot.  Dipping does leave a sented oil trail in the water as you move the bait.

Yum or Gulp Crawfish scent

Reel Snot Java

 

Most of the time its Megastrike, the other stuff is scents I got on clearance.

None. I like how anise smells the most. Fish seem to like whatever Berkley Powerbait is called.

Ironically, in the 5 times I have been on an Elite anglers boat, the pro's I have been with have never used scent.  David Fritts spent 8 hours last Thursday dragging a Carolina rig around with a small beaver bait and not once used scent.

I just started using JJ's Magic which is garlic.  Haven't really been out enough to see if it helps.

I've used garlic and Berkley bass attractant, I can't tell the difference between scented and unscented.

This...except I use the Blue one (Shad).

If and when I do which is becoming more rare I use 1/3 anise and 2/3 baby oil

I figured the percentage would be lower for the none one. It's very effective on certain days.

I jj magic’d My backpack twice, and the couch. I promptly threw it away. I’ve never used the jj’s, and it’s almost entirely gone, when I used spike it a few times I noticed no difference in bites or how long they would hang on, so I don’t bother anymore. 

Spike it more for the color (chartreuse dipping the tail or claws) then scent. Megastrike if I use scent at all then usually with jigs or unscented plastics.

Yes they do. As far as the other two given the bowling pin sized baits some are throwing I wouldn't be surprised. 

Megastrike 90% of the time. The other 10%, garlic chartreuse pen, mostly for the color.

I have Pro-Cure Crawfish and Megastrike... haven't noticed any difference using them over not using them. What seems to work better are the Powerbaits and coffee scented lures. Those have caught me a few fish. Other traditional soft baits that just smell like plastic/rubber, haven't seen any difference adding scent to them or not. Fish either bite them or don't.

Normally none, but occasionally I will use crawfish.
