Are you fishing from shore or boat ?

I like to fish rip rap dams , main lake flats and points with buzzbaits , spinnerbaits , texas rigs and crankbaits . These are easy and productive areas to fish .

Jigs and buzz baits are first on my list

Slow rolling a black Colorado blade spinner bait, big Texas rigged worm. Use dark colors, black and red, brown. Fish slower as well.

Topwater baits.

Same thing as day time for me. One of my top producers at night is a drop shot

This. I also usually have some sort of big topwater tied on in case they are in the mood.

dark colors, 10" black power worm, black single Colorado blade spinnerbait, black chatterbait, jitterbug, junebug zoom speed craw

Some type of a top water or high vibration transmitting underwater bait. If you're going to be using soft plastics my inclination would be to use a darker color.

Big fan of Night operations for bass.

In fact, I'm going out tonight.

Plenty about the subject in this thread.

A big ol' black Jitterbug is a favorite of mine also. Along with a black 9" Culprit Fat Max, a black 1 oz. spinnerbait with a single #6 copper Colorado blade.

I’ve had good luck with topwater early morning and late evening but when it’s actually dark I’ve had more success with big worms and spinnerbaits.
