Super Lube Grease

Featured Replies

Does anyone use this grease for their reel SUPER LUBE SYNTHETIC GREASE,I'm going to HomeDepo today and thought about picking some up.

thanks

Gregg

I use it on gears, and baitcaster worm shafts. No issues with it thus far.

Ive used it before. I have no complaints about it really. The one thing I did notice is it seems to get more liquid like in the summer months than other stuff. I’ve been using Abu Silicote about a year now and really like it. It’s priced well and stays put.

It's fine but no magic in it (or any of the others for that matter)

DVT, day in and day out what grease do you prefer?

Been using Super Lube, or Yamaha Blue Marine in my reels for 15 years.  Lots of good stuff out there, but I just started with them and no need to change.  Lots of do it yourself anglers use drag grease on their gears.  Shimano even recommends their ACE 2 drag grease for their micro gears.  Probably the same as Cal's Drag Grease.

Either Cals drag grease or more often blue marine grease.

Been using it for many years, started when you could get it as a spray.

Never has dried out after years in a reel in storage, a huge plus.
