DRT KLASH 9 and TINY KLASH

Recommended Posts

The DRT Klash 9, 9" 3.3 oz floater and 4 oz sinking, and the Tiny Klash 6.6", 2 oz is one swimbait that has been out of reach since 2015. Oh, I could get one off Ebay for $250+, but I will not give them the satisfaction. The Klash is made by DRT (Division Rebel Tackles) in Japan, and they can't even keep them stocked over there. My friend, Hohyeong Kang, sent me a picture of his latest catch using the Klash, and my mouth watered. If you're a swimbait fanatic and you have one, consider yourself lucky.

Yeah, they were about to come back in stock at TW and then all of the sudden the company was removed from the site entirely. I'm hoping a couple sites that carry their baits surprise me and still get a shipment in a few weeks. Agree $250 is steep, but it is one of the rare baits I'd be happy to pay retail for.

$250 for a K9?! Someone is doing some serious bait flipping. I had a K9 but didn't like it much. I'd like to get a TK but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Not sure what color I want and have some more pressing purchases to make first.

The 9" retails for around $95 and the 6.6" for $69.

I paid $60 for my K9. I've got a connection stationed in Japan though. Going to get a TK before he finishes his tour.

They're definitely a cool bait to play around with. The modular design of the bait allows you to "play" more than other baits currently on the market.

Don't get fooled though, they're not kicking them out at full capacity. They're doing what a lot of companies do by manufacturing interest and hype by controlling supply. It's quite transparent.
