FAVORITE large mouth baits???

Featured Replies

i was J/W what was some of yalls favorite all time large mouth baits?????

i gonna have to say a BRUSH HOG is my all time favorite..

The one that I catch my next personal best on :o! I love'em all. Move 'em around in the tackle box, take 'em out and look at 'em, put it back and look at another one, move 'em around again. Mmmmmmmmy Precious...........Oh!...uhhh...I can quit anytime I want to :-[...

                                        As Ever,

                                         skillet

BTW the Brush Hog is right up there near the top of the list!

If the baitmonkey would just go away I have no doubt that I could fish the rest of my life with just some trick-sticks, beavers, bushbug(brushhogs) and spinner baits.

Well, my favorite lures to fish are jerkbaits, but my best producers are:

#1  Fat Ika

#2  6" Senko (not knock-offs)

#3  Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo tube

Recent favorites: GYCB Kreature & Mattlures Baby Bass

RW...You like ikas, senkos, and El Gordo tubes.  I never knew.  What a shocker ::o.  J/K of course i'm sure once i've been around as long as you mine will be just as predictable as well.  BTW i've completly eliminated the saying does a bear s@%t in the woods from my vocabulary and replaced it with does Roadwarrior like GYCB ;D ;D.

my favorite bait of all time would have to be berkley powerbait worms, and other plastic lures. there strong, the scent seems to bring the bass in, and there really versatle.

Favorite- any Lucky Craft bait.

#1 Producer- GYCB Senko

I've been tearin em up for years on a black/blue jig.

But I'm really gettin into drop-shotting and its been a pretty steady producer so far.

My fav would have to be a Culprit worm, red shad color, t-rigged.  Ive caught my more bass with it than any other bait and it is kind of my fall back bait if nothing else seems to work.

1 Tubes

2 Flukes

3 Jigs

4 Knock offs (not Senko's)  ;D

Favorite=Floating Minnow

Most productive=Soft Plastics(namely Zoom lizards,Culprit worms,Manns finese worms,and Strike King Tubes).

I like tubes, 4" worms and 4" Fin S Fish early in the season but when things shift to summer patterns jigs and T-rig worms are my favorites for the rest of the year (which basically ends in October here).
