I was just on Amazon. Concept Z reels under and around 100 dollars. Looking for a new reel. Don't know much about 13 Fishing. I am a big fan of good deals though. I have read some mixed reviews on these reels but they must be worth grabbing for half price. Thoughts?

It's a reel they are overcharging you for bushings.  In that price range you can do better...

WDY, is there a thread about it being 50% off and if it is worth purchasing at 50% off? I believe you missed some of the point of the post. I was really trying to put some helpful info out there, I am sure there are some Concept Z fans out there that might want to know of a potential bargain. 

 

Additional info, Pflueger is having a sale on their site. Not as aggressive as last year but still.

I wanted a z when they first came out but steered clear due to the 50/50 split of reviews. I just got the 7.3:1 off amazon for $101 a couple days ago. Haven't used it yet but it actually feels really nice. For reference, all my other reels are Curados, Chronarchs, Tatula SVs, Zillion TWSs, and a lonely Revo Premier 3.

Thanks Dogbone. Saw a 8.1 to 1 Tatula in the 120 range. Not a bad deal, might pull the trigger on that one.

Fair point.  Thank you for letting us know.  I was interested in one of those reels, but no $$ now (getting divorced).

That's a great deal.  I have a couple of concept A's with KP spools I enjoy using.  My only complaint on my 13 reels is having to remove the sideplate for braking adjustments.
