Rod shipping

Featured Replies

Has anyone every ordered a rod from fishusa.com? I normally order my rods from tackle warehouse but they don’t have the rod I’m looking for. Just wondering how they’re shipping is

They are great shippers & fast. No worries.

FishUSA ships in sturdy tubes like TW and they're fast. Don't worry about it. They're great.

Just got this today from SportsmansOutfitters.  Shipped vs USPS.  Neighbor said the postman dropped it off and took off fast.  Never seen anything like it.  The tube was snapped in the middle, rod folded in half put back inside, and taped up.  Ridiculous.

That’s not the postman’s fault. If they give it to him he has to deliver it as is. Simply contact the shipper and they should replace it.

Who’s fault is it?  I doubt SO shipped it out like that.  Somebody at USPS did this, right?

Bent tubes like that are 99% the cause of being placed on a moving belt which jams one end & then the force of the moving belt torques the tube in half.

I feel your pain and hope you get your issue handled quickly.

I got my 1st NRX delivered like that from Fedex. I was like, "that's broke" when I saw it. The Tackle Trap handled it well for me and shipped me another one quickly.

Most likely a conveyor belt. If you’d ever seen inside a shipping center you’d see how it can happen. The sheer volume moving through there is overwhelming. Accidents happen. The shipper will make good and square up with the carrier.

I’m certain SO will take care of it, just extra work for everyone.

Never thought of that.  I figured someone put the ends on something then jumped on the tube.

I've received a couple like that.  Depressing.
