No SLX XT at BPS or Cabelas?

Featured Replies

Tried to find one  their sites and NADA.  SLX & SLX DC only.  Seems a little strange.   Gift cards awaiting one.

I know they are available elsewhere, but I have BPS gift cards.

My local Cabela’s seems to be thinning their reel selection and trying to push the house brand more. They have like 2 Shimano models, 2 Daiwa, 4-5 Abu, etc and 20 Johnny Morris reels there.

In the future, BPS and Cabelas will be another Dicks Sporting goods . I bought 2 reels online this month on sale because they dont carry enough variety. To bad I shopped there alot in the past

They got a couple good things - their tackle bags are usually larger and more affordable than Plano. But other than for those, I do all my shopping for tackle elsewhere.

Especially when they advertise 'huge savings'...and it's 90% on their own brand.

The bass pro by Toronto is trash, very rare to get a worth wild deal.

I like their Redhead clothing line when it is on sale.

I have said this before wish they would bring back the Daiwa made for Cabelas reels like the Arachnid a blue Tatula R.

The regular SLX is a good reel, you can always add the extra bearing and nothing wrong with the old brake style.

They have them at the one around here. If you go to the store they can order you one.

To pick up there, free to store
