Softbait Creatures/Helgramite

Featured Replies

Does anybody know of and where I can find a good creature softbait that looks like a centipede maybe, and at least 3" to 5 " in size, for freshwater, Large Mouth Bass fishing in Arizona

Case Plastics sells a 3 1/4 inch hellgrammite. $2.49 for a pack.

Lunker City lures has what you want.

A company called Nikko makes some also.  They are more like the material Zman is made out of.

Zoom makes one.  It was, for a short time, an alternative to a lizard for a carolina rig.  I have not seen them in years but they do work well.

You might try the Zoom Centipede baits. They have saved many fishing trips for me.

This post has me looking around at hellgrammite lures I have perhaps half a dozen brands and am most satisfied with the devil bug I mentioned above but I just saw the tackle HD hellgramite on TW, and it looks to be a winner to me... I want to try it asap

Tackle HD has a 5” Hellgrammite.  It looks more like a centipede than the smaller ones.  It definitely works as I have caught fish on it, but it’s only downside is that it’s not very durable.

I purchased Nikko hellgrammites on Amazon. I have not had a chance to use the Nikko's yet but they look good.

Here is what I bought.
