Owner Flashy Swimmers

Featured Replies

I've been getting some big bites on the coolbaits underspins but at $6 a pop it gets aggravating snagging multiple of these per trip. Does anyone have any experience with the owners and how they compare to a regular jig head underspin? Thanks.

Screw-lock swimbait hook with a blade attached by wire. Blades spin freely below the bait and it's weedless.

I use them. But from my experience they hang weeds just as much underspin jigs. Great hook though with a good hookup ratio.

They work good, the plastic swimmer is rigged weedless in lieu of exposed hook.

They're great for adding a little flash to a weedless rigged swimbait.

I'll second Tom's post. Grab a bunch in various weights.

If you get the 5/0 or bigger get some large centering pin springs. It will make your soft plastics last way longer.

Wanted to change mine out to larger pin, but found it difficult to get the original off without bending them. Any tips on how to do this?

Joe just rotate them off. They twist off real easy.

Thanks Dwight! Just got one off and on. It took a while, the first turn is what’s giving me trouble. Getting the hook eye around the first spiral.

*I have the Owners in various weights with the willow leaf blade - now going to pick up some new ones with colorado blades as well - They work well and TW sells blade replacement kits cheap .

I use a little pair of pliers to do it, if the hook eye is too thick it takes a bit of force to get it to pop.
