Hello,

 

A little bit about me.

 

I have been recently following some of the forums here after several years of far less fishing activity that I would prefer.

 

I started fishing in the mid-60's. My family were all water skiers, but for some reason, I always wanted to fish instead. Took a fair bit of razzing for it over the years, but eventually my brothers eventually came over to spend some time on the dark side too. I loved to fish when we would vacation, but also learned to fish in park and golf course lakes in the suburb where I grew up. I have spent quite a bit of time on many of the SoCal lakes, and lived in Redondo Beach for a while (so I fished the local party boats quite often). I wrapped a set of Sabre and Truline boat rods for party boat fishing and I like to do crafty stuff like that.

 

I eventually moved to Castaic in 1987. I had my own bass boat for several years, but eventually faded from my passion while raising kids and working a lot of hours.

 

The kids are grown, and I now have some free time for myself and my desire to get back into fishing has resurfaced.
