Got an early Christmas present.

Featured Replies

I went in to work today at 4 am when I got home at 1 I had a 1996 bass tracker pro team 17 in the yard. My wife didn't have a choice to hide it the guy needed it gone. I guess she got a really good deal on it. She paid 1200, the motor a 40 hp merc starts on the first turn, it does need some wiring work, but other than that it seems good to go. I was suprised to say the least. I will put some pics up later.

Another Tracker guy, super!

Congrats on the boat. You will love her.

And you can go places the heavier glass boats can't go.

Just remember to put the plug in when you leave the house!  ;)

Thanks for all of the nice words. I know this boat isn't a new skeeter, but to me it is. I think the wiring problem is the fuse block needs replacing ( right now nothing electronic other than the starter for the motor is working) and the spindle for the speed guage on the transom ( I think thats what its called)  I will replace the carpet on the front deck in the spring.

Right now I just want to get the boat in the water. The wife said she had to go out before the fishing buddies do. I plan on putting it in Sutton Lake here in a few weeks. If anyone has any guidance on these boats I would appreciate it.

sounds like a great deal and your wife found you something to take up your spare time this winter

Merry christmas

Sounds like you have a Great Wife, congrats on the tracker boat.

;D ;D ;D

Sweet deal on the boat.  Well your honey-do-list just got a little bigger LOL ;D

Why can't my wife surprise me like that?  In my situation, it's more like me surprising her of my new gears. ;D
