Editing a comment.

Is there an edit function?

If so, I can't figure it out.

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Interesting.

All I have under my comment is

+  Quote

Just a thought, but do you happen to have more than one login. If the comment was not made by the user you are logged in as.  The edit button will not appear.

Strange. Now Edit is showing up next to Quote. Must be a conspiracy LOL

Could have been a bug and a moderator fixed it.

If so I'm glad it's there now.

You have a short period of time to edit a comment, after which is becomes permanent. So if you try to edit it several hours later, you can't.  That's why sometimes you see it, and other times you don't.

Roger that. Thanks Glenn!

Always proof read before hitting post, and then proof read again immediately after posting.

Or you can follow my method; proofread before posting, proofread after posting, then delete post.   ?   jj

I'm having this same issue. There is no edit option for me. I only see a "+" and "Quote" at the bottom of my posts.

Top right corner; those three little dots. If you click on them, assuming it's your post, the option to  'edit' should pop up. Just click on it and you can then edit after it reopens it.

'Report' and 'share' show as the only two options if it is not a post you made. If it is a post you made, then you get the third option, also (edit).

You can only edit your own posts.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to convey to him. I edited it to maybe make it clearer.

Can also vary depending if you are viewing the desktop version of the site or one of the mobile versions. My phone is not playing nice with this place lately and has been causing all kinds of user interface strangeness.
