Posted a reply to something in tackle making and got this response. Is because the links need reviewed first or am I on double secret probation? I have been a member for over 10 years and this is the first time it has happened.

I am a regular customer in this deal -

Posts show up 'hidden' and in red.

I just 'report' my hidden posts to a mod and it usually ends up in the thread

a short time later, if not sooner.

I’ve had the same experience. I’m not sure if it’s a minor glitch, because mine have been or random harmless posts. I too just report it and my post quickly becomes visible. One time the mod I reported it too noticed before I had the chance to PM him.

Hey guys, we've been getting hit hard by spammers recently, and all their posts contain links to shady websites.  So all posts that have links need to be reviewed and approved by a moderator.

That said, I've been building an ever-expanding list of "good" links that are frequently posted here, and those posts automatically pass through.  So if your post goes into "moderation", it just means the link hasn't been added to the list yet.

Hope that helps!

Thanks @Glenn ~

It's all good.

Certainly prefer the prevention over the free flow of insanity.

Man, you can say that again! There are other sites on the web that are like gang warfare! I don't want any part of that. Thank you, @Glenn.       jj

Thanks! I figured it was something like that.
