Lucky Craft lipless through the years

Featured Replies

In my continuing effort to experience and have knowledge of fishing lures of past and present (wanna be lure historian), I am hoping to obtain some Lucky Craft lures of old and am still studying the RC crank bait lineup.
I am amazed at all the LC lipless that has been sold and last night I ordered 2 of the LV-100’s and 2 of the LV-300’s (silent). I also see some 70 models and a unique sounding the model 200 and then there’s the 500 and a big line up of D series. Which of these are hit and miss and what colors have you had success with? If you have any stories or tips on these please share your stories or thoughts about them.  How about that beautiful vib model that has the swim tail? I want to obtain all eventually and you gotta admit that is a beautiful lure regardless if it’s a dud lol

Adding some more to your list.... The Hagane, the Bevy Vibration, the iLV, and the RTO.  I also  saw something about a "Virtual Series" of lipless cranks.  They have a ton...

Good luck.  Wait till you start looking at the Xcalibur One Knocker.  I remember them going on clearance for a couple of bucks before being discontinued  and now they go for $10-$20 a piece.   Great lipless crank though.  I lost my last one earlier this year, chrome blue.

Those one knocks are like $30+ now, luckily I still have some.

My first LV’s are in. The 300 no rattle has a one nocker goin on? No sound front to back but side to side is a definite one nocker. Wasn’t expecting that. I’m surprised the 300 has two size 6’s as big of a lure as it is.  Both the 100 and 300 has oval split rings line tie but the rings on the 300 are extra heavy duty for both line tie and hook rings. The Lucky Craft nishiki is a beautiful interpretation of clown.

Nope. I spent $24K last year on fishing stuff, including a Ranger RT178 and Elite Ti2’s to go along with them.

I shut myself off until I can get wife to Disney... ?

I’ve heard. Our trip to Disney is for her. I’ve just not decided to spend the dough on it.
