I had a 3" 3/8oz Matsoguoro that I used with fluoro for keeping it down and really like it. Caught a bass, few casts later backlashed, picked it out and didn't notice the kink in the line, cast it about 50 yards into the water and shed a tear. Stupid windy days. But i really liked it and i want to get another. Saw some knock offs on Amazon for 1/4 of the price but question the quality. So I'll go back with an original next time I go to BPS.

AGREED! I lost the only one I had and that's what has kept me from running out and picking up another. It worked and I liked it, I just have to be in a certain mood to drop $6.50 on a small little single swimbait.

Look for the knockoff versions. I haven't spent over $3 on one.

I bought a bunch a few years ago when they were on sale for less than $2.00 each.

Not sure but I think it was from Alixpress.

there are a few different companies that sell them. Hunt house sells the best so far. $3ea

Do not fish where there is pike or pickerel.  My tail got bit off on the second cast by a small pickerel.  Megabass will not respond to feedback.

What are they supposed to do? Toothy fish destroy plastics and cut line and steal lures on a regular basis.

One of my favorite baits for small mouth. They straight up will catch fish.

I prefer the dark brown color, cant remember the name of it. 1/4 ounce 2 and 3 inch versions.

They will get hung up quick though, wood and rock are the enemies to the dark sleeper.

I run them on a bottom contact rig, Megabass brailest for the heavier ones, Mebagass Enforcer for the little ones.
